Election years, Agenda pushing, and the network news
« on: September 25, 2006, 07:14:56 PM »
We're all used to the networks doing "timely" stories, that illustrate whatever point the left leaning politicians want to make from their agenda. Tonight, Nightline took that to a whole new level. For those that don't watch it the 30 minute ABC News program is broken into three 10 minute or so segments. Tonights bill of fare?

1. Stopping the violence in Philly with 1 gun a month, liability for lost or stolen guns, and other "reasonable" restrictions on firearms.

2. The melting polar ice cap, global warming and the poor polar bears. (two for one with this one)

3. Clinton's meltdown on Fox News was actually a crafty political ploy to destroy the credibility of the question being asked.

Whee!!! rolleyes

Television is to news as comic books are to literature.
No tyrant should ever be allowed to die of natural causes.

"Television is to news as comic books are to literature."

Amen, Brother. And the print media are right in there too.

You analogy is correct though.

For the record: I read comic books as a seven-year-old myself.
No tyrant should ever be allowed to die of natural causes.
