What's Next for the Bundys ?
« on: April 21, 2014, 07:00:25 PM »
Really interesting article written by a former DEA supervisor type.  It is interesting because is describes all the machinery which can be used to counter the bad optics of the Bundy ranch standoff.  Those watching the story will agree that "yeah, the federales will be back".  What is lacking in the analysis is just how will they be back.  This piece goes into minute detail as to how is will be done.

After reading the article my impression was "What kind of monster holds my leash".

Here is the article
http://www.lewrockwell.com/2014/04/david-hathaway/whats-next-for-the-bundys/

And here is the author's website

Yep.  We've reached that point where standing up for your rights gets you flattened by the .gov.

I still really have no idea on whether Bundy was right or wrong, I suspect he does have the morally superior argument if he does not have the legally superior argument.
This is based on Reid's and the liberals hysteria.

They seem to want all his supporters gunned down, just this Sunday the Reno Gazzette Journal had one of their main editorial writers write an op-ed calling for the Nat Guard to be sent in.

If an R called for the Guard to be sent in on the occupiers around the anniversary of Kent State, what would be the liberals/media play on that story?

The more hysterical the libs get the more I'm reassured Bundy has at the minimum, a moroally correct stance.

Maybe if Bundy digs his heels in deep enough the feds will give him money like they do for Iran.

At first I thought they were supporting Bundy, but upon further reading it sounds like they do not.

some burners like rural nevadans and quite a few don't .... if they think they're going to annoy him-they're idiots. rural nevadans generally don't give a rats backside to what other people are doing....they'll run into the same BLM agents that made burningman what it is today, a totally controlled policed environment with the only guns in the hands of the govt agencies

Yeah, the guy doesn't seem very bright. He'll hold his Bundyfest, the BLM and other cops will show up and enforce rules when the pseudo-hippies go wild, then Mr Bundyfest will go on a tirade about the BLM and 'The Man" in general, holding him down.
