Another Student Making "Gun Motions"
« on: April 07, 2014, 03:23:18 PM »
If all the info is accurate, a couple of things trouble me more than usual for this type of incident.

1) He was apparently narced on by another student that had been bullying him. I didn't see anything about the bully getting in any trouble or having to be evaluated, which brings me to:

2) Five hours of physical and psychological examination?!? I'm trying to think about how that would have affected me at that age. I know therapy is all the norm now, but I think if I had been put in the psych interrogation room for that long at that age for the same thing, I might have steered myself down some wrong roads thereafter.

And when they demonstrate behaviors that raise red flags, we must do our duty.

Anti-social types must be purged, the state knows best.
Some days even my lucky rocketship underpants won't help.

Bring me my Broadsword and a clear understanding.
Get up to the roundhouse on the cliff-top standing.
Take women and children and bed them down.
Bless with a hard heart those that stand with me.
Bless the women and children who firm our hands.
Put our backs to the north wind.
Hold fast by the river.
Sweet memories to drive us on,
for the motherland.

By the time I was that age I woulda screwed with em. Answer have you ever had thoughts so horrible you couldn't tell other people?   "You mean so far today? Yea a couple times."  You know you got em when they get someone else in the room. Are afraid to be alone with you

It is much more powerful to seek Truth for one's self.  Seeing and hearing that others seem to have found it can be a motivation.  With me, I was drawn because of much error and bad judgment on my part. Confronting one's own errors and bad judgment is a very life altering situation.  Confronting the errors and bad judgment of others is usually hypocrisy.

Not having read the article, are the bullies just finding other ways to harrass their targets?

Its better to tell em "lots of times!!" Then get in touch with yohr inner jack Nicholson.    Its fun to tell cops the same thing when they ask "have you ever been arrested?"   Not the answer they usually get
