Of course, these are BATFE figures, so they may have misplaced a few . . .

But but but, that's probably just a small number of people buying many guns each...yeah, a small number...like say, 3% of the population buying at least 1 gun a year?

So if supply is high, and demand is falling like the media claims, I should soon be able to get a great deal on an AR and a high end 1911, right?

I have heard people estimate that as many as 1/3 of those new gun sales are to new gun owners......which corresponds to some of the ammo shortages.

Also corresponds to the crowds I see at the local shooting ranges.  They've gotten a lot more busy over the past 3-4 years.
