Harry Anderson has passed

Harry Anderson of Night Court fame has passed away.  He was found dead in his home in Asheville, NC.  Sixty-five years old, he had been ill recently.

Well dang. Like him even before he made it big on Night Court. I remember sitting in my college dorm room, sipping on a vodka and lemonade ... uh, Dr. Pepper while watching his stage act on a "Best Of" stand up comics videotape and yukking my head off. Seemed like a damn nice guy in real life, too.

Loved both Night Court and Dave's World.

I was sad that he hadn't had much work lately (at least that I knew of.)

I'll be opening Season 3 of Night Court to start watching. (I am slowly acquiring the whole series, one season at a time.)

So do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us. There are other forces at work in this world, Frodo, besides the will of evil. Bilbo was meant to find the Ring. In which case, you also were meant to have it. And that is an encouraging thought

He had true talent.  Made it look effortless and he was truly hilarious.   Night Court was always funny.  He a John Larroquette made a great comedy team.
