Possibly, at Michigan:

The Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals has reversed the District Court and revitalized a lawsuit by a student group claiming that the university's "Bias Response team" system has a chilling effect of free speech.

University of Michigan has always been a hotbed of Marxist/Leftist indoctrination. I had a friend who graduated law school from U of M in 1968. He went in a firm constitutionalist and came out a libtard.

I don’t remember college as a haven for free speech when I went. Sure, you could say bizarre, extremist things on one side, but only that one side.
So I guess I’m asking ... has it ever been?

Things have sure changed - when I was an undergraduate, the only "political" organization I remember being on campus was "Tech Students for Reagan."

Trump won in 2016. Democrats haven't been so offended since Republicans came along and freed their slaves.

You folks really make me feel old.
I remember exactly where I was when Kennedy was assassinated -- in the cafeteria at my college.
