Another thing to remember is that just because someone uses an EBT card does not mean they are using food stamp money.
As alot of states have now gone to placing access to child support payments into accounts accessed by the same card.
I worked in the grocery  business for awhile. And 90-95% of the card use was foodstamp, but there was the small percentage that used the cash option on the card. Which  comes solely from child support payments and the like.
Just an observation.

Now that 90% that use the foodstamp side. I'd say less than 25% truly deserved or was in actual need of the assistance.
