Dateline: Afghanistan

Reacting to charges that he and other administration figures send young men to die without ever facing risk themselves, Vice President Cheney on Monday arranged for Taliban forces to stage an "attack" on Bagram Airbase in Afghanistan.  Though 12 people, including one down-trodden American conscript soldier of minority descent, were killed, Mr. Cheney himself was kept safely away from the hostilities. 

According to a staff spokesman for the Vice President, everything went according to plan.  "The Vice President is safe and in good health." he reported.  "Although he courageously attempted to pull American wounded to safety, we were able to secure the Vice President in a safe location on the base.  With this attack, Mr. Cheney has demonstrated that he can not only stage terrorist attacks and unjust wars that endanger others, but he is willing to endanger his own life as well.  The level and sincerity of this administration's commitment to securing petroleum resources for the American people, as well as instilling fear in them, should now be obvious."

We regret to inform you that, due to an astounding coincidence, members The Rabbi and 280plus both perished just moments ago.  Their latest posts appear to have been induced by smoke inhalation, as they died in tragic fires, and therefore their content should not be taken as factual.

Funny, I was JUST testing the flammability and toxicity of this new fangled spray in foam insulation. The stuff will only burn when exposed to open flame and extinguishes when you take the flame away but the SMOKE is making me feel a little queasy and maybe a little dizzy right now. Apparently fistful has the ability to watch me through the monitor.
