And subtly dump on those horrible farmers out in flyover country.
Those farmers should just be like everyone else, and go to the store for their food.
Priceless!
funny, I was wondering just last week what happened with all that goobermink cheese from a couple of years ago.
What brought it up was finding some mold on a block of cheddar which overstayed its welcome in my fridge.
Without delving into it back when it was all in the news, I kinda half figured they maybe irradiated it for preservation.
Ben opined:
"It's almost comical. On the one hand, cow farts are destroying the planet. On the other hand, a lot of the left is now pushing to turn tilled land into no-till cow pastures, because no-till grazing sequesters carbon and reduces fertilizer use (the cattle provide their own). I mean, the latter is actually a somewhat sane approach as it does end up being good for the land and still keeps a meat industry going, versus the "cows are evil" vegan approach. Full disclosure, I do no-till grazing."
It's only comical if you make the unwarranted assum[ption that those folks are rational, logical beings.
They are not. They are herd animals themselves.
