Meet William Smith, the invisible candidate

Unknown guy from Pike County OH wins the D primary for the 2nd Congressional District of Ohio.  Won by 59 votes out of 20,000 cast.  None of the D party leaders know who this guy is.  Cincinnati Enquirer tries to get a hold of the guy and his mother answers the phone and says she will pass along the message.  He is 61 years old.  A superPAC called for him.  FEC reports show that he spent no money on his campaign.

A LaRouche-ie?

I don't know if LaRoache is still around, but in my recollection it was always the D.s that seemed to get stung by stealth LaRouche candidates.

He's a long  distance truck driver...so at least he'll attend more sessions than John Edwards did.

William Smith is not a truck driver. He is, however, an actor and musician.

IIRC he was in the last season of HAWAII FIVE-O.

The very mention of Alvin Greene makes me facepalm.

Is he your Senator now?  I forgot to ask....

Some days even my lucky rocketship underpants won't help.

Bring me my Broadsword and a clear understanding.
Get up to the roundhouse on the cliff-top standing.
Take women and children and bed them down.
Bless with a hard heart those that stand with me.
Bless the women and children who firm our hands.
Put our backs to the north wind.
Hold fast by the river.
Sweet memories to drive us on,
for the motherland.

He's no one's Senator. He was simply part of a Republican plot to shut the Dem's out of that seat. As if you didn't know...
