Agreed:  Bears watching. This report is not apparently part of the "if it bleeds, it leads" syndrome of the press and too many you-tubes.  But N too low at this point. 

Very interesting:  We have traces of ancient viri in our current genetic makeup.  Did not know that.  I shall now panic and run around and scream and do some garment-rending.  Probably the fault of the Trump-NRA-Contrails terrorism complex.

FWIW several viruses are known to cause cancer.  HPV is famous for causing cervical cancer and penile cancer (though the latter is quite rare, and mostly in uncircumcised men).  Epstein-Barr (the virus that causes mono) is linked to higher risk of lymphoma.

More cancers, more money to be made by the medical industry.  We used to fear the military/industrial complex, now I believe the greatest concern is the political/medical coalition.
