Windows 10 "1511" update article
« on: November 27, 2015, 05:00:05 PM »
http://www.howtogeek.com/232176/whats-new-in-windows-10s-first-big-update-the-windows-10-fall-update/

Here's a good article on the new "1511" Win10 update that just came out. I am pleased with the update so far and haven't had any issues to speak of myself.
I might not last very long or be very effective but I'll be a real pain in the ass for a minute!

I'm a few builds ahead of this due to being forced to "dogfood" but that update has a lot of goodness in it, especially stability wise.

Some people don't like having to opt out of telemetry... but it has GREATLY reduced TTR on product issues. Spike detection has vastly shortened the amount of time it takes us to get a bug filed and a fix into the pipeline. And the OS as a service model with smaller frequent updates means that the fix gets to customers faster too

One thing I REALLY like? The File Manager remembers where the heck I last left it!

A plan is just a list of things that doesn't happen.
Is defenestration possible through the overton window?

the method for disabling it is the same as before.

Hit the Windows key and R, type services.msc, and press Enter.

Locate Connected User Experiences and Telemetry and double-click it.

Click the Stop button.

Select Disabled from the drop down menu and hit OK.
