Fortunately my son is content with Curious George for his limited TV viewing time. That's a show I can deal with viewing. I haven't watched much Thomas, but I've quickly learned I can't deal with much Dora the Explorer being played.

I LOVED Curious George when I was a kid!

My youngest was just edging out of that age when Thomas became popular. I still don't understand why Bugs Bunny and his crew, Tweety and Sylvester, Popeye, and Scooby Do, can't amuse kids like they did when I was a kid. That little martian on Bugs Bunny still cracks me up every time I think of it.
Barney drove me nuts, as did the Power Rangers, which both of my boys flipped over. That stupid little yellow thing (name escapes me) that had a bunch of friends and everyone was nuts over ... not even sure what species it was ... was almost the worst. But truly the worst was Teletubbies. I just had to forbid that in my house.

Hell no! I love sponge bob! Made my youngest a Spongebob Halloween costume one year and almost wore it myself!

That little furry yellow thing. Picachoo or something?

And I love Spongebob, too. I bear a passing resemblance to Squidward.

I liked reading about Blaine the mono to Erica when she was a toddler, in my creepiest, Stephen Kingish'est voice. Therapy continues successfully. You hardly even notice the nervous ticks anymore.

My faves and the kids are Adventure Time and Regular Show. It actually is the modern equivalent of "edgy, but kids like it too" that the old Bugs Bunny ones were in the 40's and 50's.
I promise not to duck.

I don't know, SWMBO told me she had heard about it when I was telling her about the Yo Gaba Gaba character.
