This lady knows how to grab your... attention. Sounds like a typical "moderate" but I haven't looked into her that much so I can't say for sure.

Like I said, I don't know anything about her and she could be the most severely conservative candidate around.

There is about dozen GOP candidates trying to win the primary, 5 are some what credible, so far none of them appear to be too deep in the religious right's Kool-Aid and potentially have a chance of getting some democrat votes.

There is just one Democrat http://www.brucebraley.com/

This is for the open Senate seat due to Tom Harkin retiring.

Iowa is neither a Red nor a Blue State, most people are usually fiscally conservative and socially I don't give a crap.

Braley suffers from Bidenism Disease, but there are enough Democrat voters and really scary Republican candidates to keep him in office.
