Anyone read a book called "Deathride"?

I am in the process of reading this book. I have a basic understanding of WWII history, but I have to admit that I didn't know very much about the Eastern Front.
I guess I have a distinctly American view of the conflict.   I am curious if the author's interpretation of events, and his assumptions regarding the abilities and motivations of Hitler and Stalin, are reasonable. The book has been a real eye opener for me...it's a good read.

You definitely want to listen to the "Ghosts of the Ostfront" series.....very eye-opening....the Eastern Front was basically a battle b/t the Shadows vs. the Borg.....no one to cheer for on either side....
Impressed yet befogged, they grasped at his vivid leading phrases, seeing only their surface meaning, and missing the deeper current of his thought.
