Went to an estate sale yesterday about 50 miles from home. (Good opportunity to hit Sam's & other shopping while visiting civilization.)
One one table was a Lyman model 1200 DPS automatic powder measure/digital scale. Pristine condition; like-new box, inner wrapping, instruction book. There was no other gun or reloading stuff at the sale.
The auctioneer grouped it with an inexpensive paper shredder.
The auctioneer tried to start the bidding at $25, then $20, then $15..he finally asked who'd give $5. I put my hand in the air and held my breath (trying to look casually disinterested).
"I've got $5, need $7.50...yada, yada, yada."
SOLD...$FIVE DOLLARS!!!!!
I had several bystanders ask me "What the heck is that thing?" I told them, and added "Worth about $200."
Got it home and put it through it's paces, works perfectly. And so does the paper shredder!!!
Nice addition to my reloading setup.
