It seems that with export orders up, Kalashnikov is hiring more staff:

Found it interesting that Kalashnikov opened a shop at Moscow's Sheremetyevo airport(!), last year, selling realistic model guns as well as hunting gear to tourists.

Also found it . . . interesting . . . that the story began with the line "The maker of the AK-47 semi-automatic machine gun says it is to increase staff . . . "
