Remington rebates

In case anyone is interested, Remington is offering $75 rebates on certain 700 models, and $50 rebate on all 870 shotguns:

Are they still holding decent quality on the 700's and 870's?  I haven't heard anything, but I guess other issues can color the whole company.

I have an 870 I bought years ago.  It has been a good shotgun.  I might have been in the market for a semi-auto, but I bought an 1100 used that was made in the 1960's.  It is in great shape.
