What are your favorite firefox extensions?
« on: September 18, 2006, 11:24:43 AM »
I am totally addicted to "linkification" and "tab mix plus."  My other favorite extensions are "form saver," "image shack right click," "pdf download," "reminderfox," "search engine ordering," "unhide passwords," "foxy tunes."

I just tried "refresh blocker," to deal with the web pages that INSIST on forcibly refreshing whether you WANT them to or not.  It works most of the time.

Wasn't firefox a Clint Eastwood movie?

I like MozBackUp.  It is a backup utility that saves anything variable in Firefox.  Run it once and it saves bookmarks, settings, themes, extensions, the works.  A companion utility does the same thing for Thunderbird including email archives.  I had to do a HD swap and was able to replicate my browser and email setup in a few seconds.  Good stuff.

BTW, MozBackUp is not distributed by Mozilla.  Google it up separately.

I miss the spell checker I used to have, it stopped working a couple updates ago.

Paste quote, Forcastfox, Smooth wheel and Fasterfox are my main extensions.

I rarely leave ad-blocker on.
