What is even more depressing is that frequently these people are on TV and the only source of "information" that most people access.

That is the truth. I look at the local affiliates' websites now and again, and it's amusing to read most of the reporters' stories. They basically just cut and paste their copy used during broadcast, complete with some really interesting spelling and grammar errors. Fact-checking is nearly non-existant in the rush to get the "scoop," as anyone who follows gun-related news stories already knows.

The non-rehensible people had it pretty good in Nazi Germany too. Heck, I'm pretty sure the Jews were better off there early on than in some third-world hellhole.

I also think this missive is a pre-pubescent attempt to express a point of view that is also a work in progress. Probably won't progress much, but you can't always be sure.
