Robert DeNiro arguably hasn't had a decent role for several years. In "Killing Season", he departs from his usual street-smart wiseguy/cop/spy role to be a reclusive ex-soldier living in the wilderness. John Travolta is an actor whom I couldn't stand for decades, but have finally warmed up to. He plays an ex-Serbian soldier wounded in Bosnia by DeNiro's character.
Travolta tracks down DeNiro, befriends him, and then begins to hunt him in the woods for revenge. There's a lot of suspense, and some really interesting interaction between the two ex-soldiers.
This is a movie I could see a lot of people on APS liking. Check it out.
