The mask and lockdown orders they're talking about seem to have been of much shorter duration than what we're seeing today.
Wait a minute. Someone told me that masks aren't a thing in flu season. ???

[popcorn] I remember seeing a photo of people standing or sitting, on some porch I think, during the Spanish Flu, all wearing masks. Probably N1 style then =D . Sitting next to one person, a cat. Wearing a mask. How they convinced the cat to wear it, I have not a clue. :O ;/

Cats are smarter than they let on. My father would have been 16 at the time, my mother about 8 yo. I would have been -22.
