Serve the customer--no matter how stupid, no matter how subservient, no matter how ignorant.

The Great Center of America exists for the ruling class only to pay taxes and buy stuff.  When it understands the power of that it will start using the economic power it has by stopping the bloodflow of cash that feeds the enemy.

It is much more powerful to seek Truth for one's self.  Seeing and hearing that others seem to have found it can be a motivation.  With me, I was drawn because of much error and bad judgment on my part. Confronting one's own errors and bad judgment is a very life altering situation.  Confronting the errors and bad judgment of others is usually hypocrisy.

Unless it hits Drudge or one of the mainstream news sites, I'm going to call it a rumor. WND and Investmentwatch have been wrong in the past.

Wow.

Customer Relations woman said absolutely not true.  They're trying to hunt down the source of this rumor, down to the store where the rumor began.  They've had a lot of calls in regards to it.

Will edit OP.

Interesting audio recording in a flash object on this page though.  Audio prompts match the number I called, and customer service rep speaking for Walmart affirms that they will not be distributing more ammo.

Eh?  This is the only part that speaks to that specifically:
Quote
Walmart Guy: "I know there was going to be a ... there was going to be a new policy change according to the Federal Gun Control Act ... but ... Checking ..."
Investment Watch Guy: "And what does that mean?"
WG: "The new law that the President's getting ready to enact."
IWG: "Well, you don't have any idea what that says, do you?  I mean, is that you're no longer going to carry ammunition?"
WG: "To be honest with you, I don't know what the policy is going to be, but I was told they were going to be reviewing it.  So."
Reviewing policy and referencing some as-yet unknown law doesn't seem to be the same thing as affirming they won't be distributing more ammo.

I believe the rumor is based in an article about Chuck "The Schmuck" Schumer "suggesting" big box stores hold off on ordering ammo pending the gun control debate.

I think Schumer's comments constitute a really big indicator of how Obama intends to do the gun control thingy absent congressional input.  Look to Obamacare debate where his enlisted support from those who would benefit from the creation of socialist healthcare system.

I find this pretty surprising about Walmart.  But I can see their side of the story.  They don't want stuck with a bunch of ammunition that all of a sudden is hard to sell due to some new restriction.  On the other hand, I think they are pandering to Biden.  We'll see if this sticks. I may be shopping at Walmart just a bit less as a result of this change.  Hard to avoid Walmart shopping at some point, but I can buy my groceries at regular grocery stores and I can shop at Target for the other junk.

You see, I believed what I read on the internet.

Just in time inventory.  They wouldn't get stuck with much, and it wouldn't be hard to find a buyer if they were.

Linkage?  I'm seeing something about Torah scrolls.

Wal-Mart isn't ordering any more of those, either....

Walmart's known for it's ruthless efficiency.

I'll say if ammo orders are being denied, or whatever, it's just to keep the system from getting bogged down in orders that can't/won't be filled. And to keep the managers and whatnot from wasting their time putting these orders into the system.

This is a company that will close a Walmart, and open up a new one right next to it, rather than remodel the thing. And they do stuff like putting in skylights, then automatic dimmers on the store's lights that dim as the sunlight gets stronger etc. to save on the $20 in electricity etc.
I promise not to duck.

Here's a link to an article about ammunition sales at Walmart.  It starts out stating that Walmart has not changed its ammunition sales policies and will continue to serve its customers.  But then there is all this stuff about them not taking new orders...  Can't figure out what is true???

They do this kind of thing because they lease the building rather than own it.  Plus they often want more square footage.  Electricity usage... I'm sure thy pay attention to this.  All stores and factories should.

I suspect because Wal-mart buys in such large quantities, their orders are fulfilled over the course of many months.  Thus they might have their order nullified or made illegal by new legislation or EO.  For instance, imagine if they placed a huge TULA order today, and there was an EO banning importation next week.

Walmart tracks everything at every one of their stores.  Even the air conditioning is tracked and controlled from a central location.

As I said about Academy, Wal-Mart would probably take delivery from BATFE if it got them more product on the shelf....
