Title: The Great Migration
Post by: Pb on May 30, 2022, 11:00:03 AM
I saw this image blurb today, on states that people are moving out of, versus into.

Did anyone else notice something about it?   ;)

Someone made some pretty good color choices for that map.

Move from blue state to a red state to escape high taxes, high prices, and draconian regulations - Check
Continue voting just like you did in the blue state - Check

If you’re Ben Shapiro moving from CA to FL (or our Ben going to Idaho) that’s a good thing.  One wonders how much of that is happening vs locusts invading.

Thank you.  =)

I've been reading a lot about that in the local news here, and it appears if anything, were are going slightly more red. Though the studies I read were up to the 2020 election, and I fear that the covid brought a lot of blue telecommuters to the state in the last 1.5 years. A recent unverified article  I read said that we are still trending very slightly red, except for areas like Boise. There has been a take back Idaho movement going on recently by people who think we are going "far right extremist", which given the current definition, is okie dokie with me.

I don't know why we have been trending red while places like Colorado are going the opposite direction. Maybe a lot of people still think states like ID, SD, ND, WY, etc. are frozen wastelands full of rednecks and white supremacists.

Even Texas is going slightly purple, and they are the poster boy state in the media for "stupid, conservative rednecks", yet liberals are moving there.

Blue means leaving.
Red means entering.

Oh, and here is the 2020 election map.

So now you know why I've been calling my adopted home State COmmierado for the last ten years or so.

"Oh, Terry, that's crazy."

"I'm not crazy, just observant."

So now I leave it up to you to become "awakened" to the Communist menace.  I done my bit.

Crazy?

Oh, you poor darlings, all of you aboard the Good Ship Lollipop.

Happy landings on a chocolate bar, America.
