Title: More Republican desert McCain
Post by: Don't care on October 30, 2008, 10:26:45 AM
Republican solidarity appears to be at stake as more prominent Republicans have lent their support to Democrat Senator Barack Obama in the campaign.

Former Senator Charles Mathias of Maryland is the latest to throw his weight behind the Democratic nominee.

I suspect that this last guy support of Obama, has less to do with pure politics and more with greed (if not his own mother), as he probably didn't get a promised earmark from some congressman in the hole for him.

Politicians will be politicians first, and always.  They will look out for themselves no matter what.
