Hmmmm....scanning the first page here, I'm seeing about a 60/40 split of open to closed posts.  I'm wondering if we need to close this forum for a bit?  Hmmm....why punish everyone?  Maybe ban a few of the consistent people that can't figure out the whole "debate the post not the poster" thought....hmmm.....what to do, what to do.....maybe rename the forum to have the word "polite" in it...oh wait.....hmmmm......pity, I can't blame this on Fistful.....maybe if I send a warning to the posters, they may be smart enough to back off on their own?....I wonder if that would work, or are they too stubborn and they need to be banned....hmmmmm......I wonder.....

I had not really noticed, but I tend to skip a lot of posts, as many of the posters here are way too liberal for my tastes.

I'd be inclined to engage their attention with progressive discipline.

After a few offenses, warn them publiclly they are out of line and why.

A few more offenses gets them banned for a month.

A few more and the ban extends for eternity.

Actually we don't. If see why threads get closed or why users get banned there isn't any personal agenda behind it.

You know, I'm disappointed.

We now are up to like 90% closed, 10% open.

I went to bat for a couple of you.

I stood on the line and said that me posting a light hearted thread would be enough for 3-4 of our regular posters to get their collective heads out of their asses and we wouldn't need to close this forum, nor would we need to ban people.

Thanks for making me look like an idiot.


Since you are not smart enough to figure this out on your own, I'll draw a map.


Guys- look at ALL of the closed threads.  99% are closed for the same 3-4 people.  If you are one of those people, and we don't care if your post count is in the millions, stop causing problems.  If you are not mature enough to stop acting like a child, we will help you stop.

I'm not happy that I stuck my hed out for some of you and y'all bitch slapped me.
