I don't know who that is

we are not surprised
It is much more powerful to seek Truth for one's self.  Seeing and hearing that others seem to have found it can be a motivation.  With me, I was drawn because of much error and bad judgment on my part. Confronting one's own errors and bad judgment is a very life altering situation.  Confronting the errors and bad judgment of others is usually hypocrisy.

You got that right.

I wouldn't mind having her on my houseboat, either....  ;)

I don't know who that is, but she looks old and worn out.

And kinda' soft and squishy.  Not in a good way, in an overripe peach kind of way.  Yuk.

As for the rest of us, we like her because she's in Firefly. And that's a pretty good reason.  =)

???

It is?

Why?

Didn't we ban you earlier?  What are you still doing here?

Anyway, so sorry for not recognizing the Drew Barrymore of a previous generation.  Many It Girls have come and gone since then.

What with me being all banned and all, I won't reveal that the half-Klingon yummie I was misremembering about was actually Roxann Dawson.  Silly me.

I suspect that, in 50 years, Sophia Loren's name will still be remembered by film students at the very least, and Drew Barrymore (whoever that is) will be long forgotten.

Interesting you should say that, BridgeWalker. The stars considered to be sexy years back--Rita Hayworth, Sophia Loren, Marilyn Monroe--had a lot more flesh on them than do the contemporary film hotties.

I'm not saying she's fat, which she isn't, at least not that can be seen in the pic, and anyway, I got nothing against fat women (or men, for that matter).  She just makes me think of women who shake hands too limply.  And the 70's hair and makeup are pretty off-putting.  Personal taste is all.  But perhaps everyone would be more comfortable if I didn't go on trying to explain what sort of woman I find appealing.

That's certainly not the best pic I've seen of the luscious Sophia Loren. I think she looked better after she "matured" a bit.

Bob F., I think she was in her 30's in the first photo. A little older in the one below.

BridgeWalker, what's "marginally" discrete? ;)

There is NO comparison between Drew Barrymore and Sophia Loren.

I am absolutely gobsmacked that you could even suggest such heresy.

I hope so; she annoys me.  I don't have anything against Sophia Lauren, but her glory days were probably before my time, so she's only a name to me. Sorry I wasn't born earlier.  :P

As for Gina, knowing and loving the Firefly cast members is pretty much a requirement at APS, so there.

When it comes to various members reactions here to the female cast of Firefly, you don't want to see "the sticky", trust me on this.  =|

And just WHOSE fault is that!?
I wish the Ring had never come to me. I wish none of this had happened.

So do all who live to see such times. But that is not for them to decide. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us. There are other forces at work in this world, Frodo, besides the will of evil. Bilbo was meant to find the Ring. In which case, you also were meant to have it. And that is an encouraging thought
