Is Boehner finally starting to grow a pair?

Apologies in advance for the autoplay video.

Perhaps the Stupid Party is going to try to stop Obama as they were elected to do?   Or am I getting my hopes up just to be sadly disappointed again?

Some days even my lucky rocketship underpants won't help.

Bring me my Broadsword and a clear understanding.
Get up to the roundhouse on the cliff-top standing.
Take women and children and bed them down.
Bless with a hard heart those that stand with me.
Bless the women and children who firm our hands.
Put our backs to the north wind.
Hold fast by the river.
Sweet memories to drive us on,
for the motherland.

Pretty much the bolded part, I am afraid.  Boehner is just throwing a little red meat to the base.
If there really was intelligent life on other planets, we'd be sending them foreign aid.

Conservatives see George Orwell's "1984" as a cautionary tale.  Progressives view it as a "how to" manual.

My wife often says to me, "You are evil and must be destroyed." She may be right.

Liberals believe one should never let reason, logic and facts get in the way of a good emotional argument.

Ironic is it not!  Boehner schools Obama on the constitution.  Boehner,  the very same guy who purposefully dismisses constitutional remedies for presidential overreach to avoid imagined conflict.  So which is more shameful, profound ignorance or cowardice.  I vote cowardice.

"Our society is run by insane people for insane objectives. I think we're being run by maniacs for maniacal ends and I think I'm liable to be put away as insane for expressing that. That's what's insane about it." - John Lennon

Boehner likes to talk tough when he's not hanging out in obama's hot tub/glory hole/ steam room.

Scout why do you do this to yourself?  You know that he is just a policritter blowing smoke to whoever will accept it.

I'm desperately hoping to avoid bloodshed to save the Republic.

First part is pretty much assured, second is pretty much impossible. Once something has been dead for too long you need to give up on trying to resuscitate it.

Yep. Looks like it's about time to call the code.

I concur, we (will) have the government the people want.

Those who want to rebel in favor of liberty will be such a tiny minority of a minority that it just won't happen.

For the invisible things of him since the creation of the world are clearly seen, being perceived through the things that are made, even his everlasting power and divinity, that they may be without excuse. Because knowing God, they didn’t glorify him as God, and didn’t give thanks, but became vain in their reasoning, and their senseless heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools.
