Right wing comes unglued.  Pilot makes a beautiful 3-point landing after a display of arial acrobaticcs probably not practiced even on a computer game.

stay safe.

But I'm betting something about that video was practiced on the computer...

No, wait. Produced. That's the word I'm looking for.

The landing certainly looked fake, very much so.  Even the end with the guy running toward the plane looked like computer graphics.  I am not sure I can tell about the rest of it.

Hasn't this been posted on APS before?

Not a real plane. Not a real event.

Yeah, this was on here or somewhere and the consensus was it was a fake. From what I recall, there were supposedly differences in the tail painting which revealed it was a model in the air and a real plane on the ground, with a bit of image fakery involved.  However, there is apparently still debate about it.

This one fooled me, too, but the voting there was that it was a very well-done fake generated by Nissan:

http://www.hoaxorfact.com/Technology/plane-landing-on-pickup-truck-video.html

Looking at the video and the well-done "news reporting" without any other referent, I'd bet you'd believe it, too.

After all this, I changed my default position from believing everything I see to everything's a fake.

And I've been fooled by taking that position, too.  I'd call BS and it was actual fact.  My misperceptions happen with women, too.

Dang.

Dayamed if you do, dayamed if you don't.

Its a model in flight with photoshopped pilot at the end. This one has been around for a long time.

Good Ol' McDonell-Douglas Technology.  "Even a brick will fly if you put a big enough engine in it."
