Well, just 'cause nobody else has done it yet:

Freedom is a heavy load, a great and strange burden for the spirit to undertake. It is not easy. It is not a gift given, but a choice made, and the choice may be a hard one. The road goes upward toward the light; but the laden traveller may never reach the end of it.  - Ursula Le Guin

We rented a school bus for tonight and doing a pub crawl to all the neighboring small towns. One person was quoted last night at the local Irish Restaurant and Pub that "I'm going to drink so much green beer that my pee will be green by the end of the night."

I think I'm going to be the voice of reason tonight amougst my friends.

Nah, she's the ex for a lot of other reasons, some hers, some mine, some ours.

Her mom was a stone cold bottle hound, though.

My ex is the one who was donating to front "charities" that were funneling the money to the goddamned IRA.

I came to this same conclusion, but from a completely different situation.  I used to be drunk 7 out of 7 nights a week!

Potcheen is an evil, evil drink.  But it does double as a "refreshing beverage" and paint stripper.

Oh yea, and I went to see V for Vendetta.

Happy St Pat's everyone.  Hope everyone drank responsibly

I had a couple splashes each of Bushmills and Jameson tonight, not to mention a few carbombs, brought upon by my younger coworkers.  I once worked for a guy that had a picture of him and Gerry Adams with their arms around each other.   I didn't last too long at that particular joint.  That ex-boss is now in prison.  I'm not.  Further proof that the Dutch are The Chosen Ones.
