Energy observation

I bought a "super duper" 9500 BTU window AC to replace the 8000 BTU one I had for the past couple of years.
 
This is supposedly VERY energy efficient.
 
Damn. I had it on, either in "cool me cooler than Samuel L. Jackson" or "be economical, because I'm at work" mode, and...
 
It hasn't appreciably increased the bill over baseline for the month of May.

Essentially, the bedroom is damn cool, and it dehumidifies the rest of the 700 square foot house, if I leave the door open.
