I knew just about nothing on bounty hunting before I read this article. Interesting how little regulated it is and how much the agents can get away with.

I've got very little respect for so called bounty hunters.

I don't know why you always, always hit a pay wall at every news link we post here, but I hope it's because of your ESR Firefox browser. :P

A pop up comes up asking you to sign up, but you can X it out and go back to the article. I can see it.

Looking at the article, I get the impression the prosecutors are doing their best NOT to prosecute the bounty hunters for serious crimes. I guess that is hard to prove.

No paywall. The Seattle Times just won't let you through if you keep your adblocker on (at least for adblck plus + firefox). If you whitelist them, you can read all you want.

For me, the paywalls go away if I use incognito mode and/or clear my cookies.
