I tied at 94% on B5 and Firefly.  And with those two, who cares about the rest?  Wink

They left out the SF crew I'd really end up on, though:  QUARK.

And that has nothing to do with Ferengi, I assure you.

Serenity for me...
Tied with Moya - surprisingly enough but given the choice I'd fly the crew of Serenity anyday... It is truly gratifying that I scored so low on the Enterprise. I'd serve under Kirk but that weenie Piccard would have been transported into vacuum if I'd been given the chance.

You scored as Serenity (Firefly).

OKAY MBS...
You need to seek psychological help. I mean - really - how can anyone simultaneously score highest on both Serenity and the Enterprise.

Me thinks you've got some major internal conflicts going on in that head of yours. Wink

B5 was my favorite series until Firefly. As my results indicated, they still run neck and neck. Both series have philosophical backgrounds that mostly mirror my own. I've recently been acquiring the entire B5 series on (freakin' expensive!) DVD and rewatching it. Just finished the totally rockin' third season.

B5 was my favorite also. Until Firefly. Firefly so far eclipses anything else I've ever seen in scifi though it's in a league all its own.

I've been sampling other sci-fi series to take up the slack while waiting for a Serenity sequel.  I've seen all the Star Trek:  The Next Generation (episodes, and I consider them excellent, expecially the last two or three years.  Some very interesting sci-fi themes.  My favorite was was where the holodeck Professor Moriarty takes control over the ship; great solution !  I also liked where the ship was caught in (yet another) temporal loop, and the crew was repeating events with slight variations; poor solution, though.  The Borg is a great villain.

Star Trek:  Voyager is nearly as good.  I'm about half way through watching those episodes.

Star Trek:  Deep Space Nine was not enjoyable.  Too much Ferengi, too little exploration, I guess.

I watched a few episodes of Babylon 5 and could not get into it.  Reminded me too much of Deep Space Nine.  I suspect I didn't give this show enough of a chance.

I watched several episodes of Farscape.  Mixed feelings about this show.  The writing was good, but the muppets were preposterous.  I noticed that the less human the characters were, the less interesting they were to me.  I finally pulled the plug and quit watching.

I'm now watching Battlestar Galactica, the 2003 series, not the old 1979 series.  This is very good, so far.  The male characters are a bit predictable and play out somewhat unchanging situations from week to week, but the female characters are fun and seem to drive the subplots.  I'm not sure if the doctor/Blondie relationship is annoying or amusing, but their presence provides a needed dose of uncertainty to the proceedings in an otherwise fairly rigid framework.

TV outer space sci-fi, on a scale of 10:

10.0   Firefly
8.5   Star Trek:  Next Generation
8.0   Star Trek:  Voyager
7.5   Battlestar Galactica
7.0   Star Trek (original series)
6.0   Farscape
5.0   Star Trek:  DS9
4.0   Babylon 5

I didn't catch it till the second or third episode and thought it was stupid. Then I caught one of the last shows of season one and kicked myself.

I blew Firefly off completely. Took a thread on THR for me to get the DVDs, then once again, kick myself (even harder).

I think I read that Battlestar Galactica uses the same special effects company as did Firefly.  Pretty much explains why, about fifteen minutes into Battlestar Galactica:  The Miniseries, a Firefly class spacecraft is seen flying a short ways off in the distance

I'm the opposite. I like the original Star Trek, and DS9 but thought all other incarnations absolutely sucked. Too much socialism for my taste. I also cannot stand the new Battlestar Galactica. It's just a day time soap opera set around a them in space IMO.  But then again, I'm sure several would say that about the programs I liked the most after Firefly:
Stargate SG1, Stargate Atlantis, Babylon 5, Dark Angel, Jeremiah (used to be on Showtime), Farscape, and Andromeda.
