No bleach or chlorine, it will corrode the pump.
Some oil would do the trick, won't hurt the pump.
I needed a mod to change my signature because the concept of "family friendly" eludes me.
Just noticed that a mod changed my signature. How long ago was that?

'Pig Cloth' or 'Pig Absorbant' will suck up oil and organic solvents but repel water. They sell some of these products at auto parts stores.

Never heard of that stuff. Nice to know.
