What a way to go
« on: May 24, 2021, 11:23:16 AM »
Some guy in Spain got himself killed trying to retrieve his cell phone from a papier-mache statue:

https://metro.co.uk/2021/05/24/mans-body-found-upside-down-in-dinosaur-statue-after-he-fell-in-getting-phone-14634965/

I mean, we all gotta go someday but wow, what a stupid way to go. The linked article has the best photo of the statue I've found so far. I can't figure out how he even got himself in there.

It was paper mache.  If the guy had a knife or multi-tool on him, perhaps he could have cut himself out.

It's been happening pretty regularly since 1993.

Is that when Barny went ballistic?

No, that's when Dr. John Hammond had some containment problems.

Did I talk about the Barney Blast back on TFL/THR? We had a fair group show up, and... A gallon jug of B'Harni Blood (grape kool aid) is absolutely atomized when hit with a 12 gauge deer slug. You can taste the grape in the air.

That was a Doom mod that changed some of monsters to Barney singing I Love You. The Monty Python mod was a riot.
