I have been looking on our local Craigslist for ages for a good-condition Schwinn Airdyne bicycle. I have not had much luck. I use one at the Y occasionally, and it is my favorite exercise bike. I have one of my mountain bikes on rollers at home, and it is just not as smooth nor is there as much resistance as riding on the road or the Airdyne. Amazon sent me an email this morning about Schwinn and Nautilus exercise bicycles being on sale as the deal of the day. The latest revision of the Airdyne, the AD6, is on sale today for $ 480. You typically find it online or in stores for $ 700. With free two day shipping from my Prime account, I snapped that puppy right up.
