Inconsequential trivium on ammo boxes.
« on: August 22, 2019, 06:53:34 PM »
Hazardous materials program on Quest TV:

Turns out that many radiopharmaceuticals, whose effectiveness is very time-critical (like half-lives of less than 200 minutes) are often packed in the old metal ammo boxes for shipping.

Apparently the sealability, durability, and availability are ideally suited for that kind of mission.

Just a trivium.

Now we know why they're so expensive. The damn doctors are using them to save lives instead or to carry ammunition.

What's this world coming to, anyway?

Had a barium cocktail once.  GF was reluctant until I narrated the story of Spiderman to her, then she succumbed.

She still couldn't climb walls, though.

Real question is; did she drive you to want to climb walls?? ?  >:D     [popcorn]
