It appears that the sequester isn't going the way the Democrats thought it would. They believed that it would be like the Shutdown of '95-'96, when the Republicans were tarred with the blame when Mt Rushmore was closed to tourists.
This time, there's nothing happening. And even the shutdown of the White House tours has backfired. Debbie Wasserman-Schultz's tale of woe regarding her staffers having to order off the Dollar Menu at McDonald's did not bring about the hue and cry to end the horrible suffering that the "Cruel Cuts" have inflicted on her poor (60-120k a year) staffers, that she had hoped. When 17% (+/-) of working age folks are unemployed, it's hard to generate sympathy for those that can't order top shelf food and have to brown bag it to work. At least they have "work". Well, a paycheck.
And Harry Reid takes the prize. He was named *expletive deleted* of Week by Ranger Up for trying to tie the deaths of the the Seven Marines killed at Hawthorne Army Depot to the Sequester.
