IIRC, he was married to Barbara Bain, his co-star on both
Mission: Impossible
and
Space 1999
.
A very capable actor, especially in his role of Rollin Hand in M.I.

the cult worshiping dead actors is well represented. You can see them all, over and over, on Netflix.

I used to look forward to watching Space 1999 when I was teen in the late 1970s. Even had a die-cast toy of the Eagle spacecraft. I recently gave it another go on Netflix/Hulu. I could not get past the first 10 minutes.
For me, Mr. Landau will always be Leonard from North by Northwest.
