I was listening to this story on the way home, and I had to look at the story to get the visuals.  Very interesting.  I have created and read a lot of science/medicine posters over the years at various meetings, and I can see this new format really taking off.

I guess the same concept can be applied to anything where you are trying to grab someone's attention.  If you can't communicate the basic premise in a few seconds, you are losing a good portion of your potential audience.  Sort of like ads/videos that don't tell you what they are advertising in the first 5 seconds or repeat it enough that you remember it without trying.

Does the UPC code link to the research or is that something else?
