Does any image illustrate so neatly the wrongheadedness of the Obama administration than Americans scrambling in terror from Air Force One?
Just great…Chicago politics has spread to all 57 states.
They told me if I voted for John McCain, my country would look like it is run by people with a disturbing affinity towards fascism. And they were right!

On two occasions, I have been asked [by members of Parliament], "Pray, Mr. Babbage, if you put into the machine wrong figures, will the right answers come out?" I am not able to rightly apprehend the kind of confusion of ideas that could provoke such a question.

Not to accuse the press of not fact-checking, but that really looks like a paintball gun to me.  The tank, hose and barrel width all look like paintball stuff.  I'll do a little googling, but that's my early prediction.

I was thinking paintball gun myself but since the image description says "sub-machine" I thought it might be some sort of "hi-speed", operator type weapon I have never seen before IRL, on TV or in a video game.

I can't identify the marker, but watching him wave it around, definatly a paintball gun of some type.

It's a FN Herstal FN303  less-lethal gas operated rubber baton launcher. The magazine between the grips is a drum of rubber batons or OC bursters.

The guy in the next picture down though has an actual machine gun, a DPM by the looks of it.

I just found it myself by google-ing for images of "non-lethal weapon" and there it was.

Kind of useless in a shooting war, no?

We'd be dropping sterile Eastern European AKM variants. Lord knows we bought a few million new ones for Iraq and Afghanistan's new armies and police forces. (Then went and reversed ourselves, switching some of them back to M16's and M4's... then gave back the AK's when they couldn't even do jumping jacks.)

No idea what the gun laws in Lybia were like before SHTF... maybe it's the kind of thing a wealthier shop-keep actually can get if they jumped through all the hoops. Or it was liberated from a police depot.

It probably was.  I was just taking a chance to take a dig at the administration...liberals don't like the idea that someone might actually die in a fight after all....

Meh.. only when they're not the administration in charge. Or so it seems to me.

The protesters in front of the WH fence, who feel betrayed by Obummer? Sure. They're consistent about it. The rest of the Left that actually gets in power, for the most part they seem to be just as willing to light the fuse if they see some advantage to it.

The namby-pambyness one does see, such as an unwillingness to put boots on the ground, tends to just be more the result of a finger in the wind, and a lack of political spine, than it is any true fundamental aversion to bloodshed. Hell, our own Community Organizer In Chief, learned at the knee of Bill Ayers, who was part of the whole "We'll have to kill 30-40 Million Americans who won't convert to communism/socialism during his Weathermen days."

Getting shot with a paintball can hurt if you're not protected. I'd imagine the impact balls are harder than regular paintballs, plus you can use OC balls as well.

It's a "truck gun"  You stand on the car or truck and call people pig-dogs and such, show them the bottom of your shoes, and then fire it in the air. No bystanders get fatally wounded.
