I was talking to a friend and he said he had a friend that makes bows.

And he uses a Bowflex to tension and cure the bows.

I thought that was cool and decided to pass it on.

Not a bowyer myself, so I'm not sure how it would work. So I can't help with answering any questions you may have.

While I'm still a very amatuer bowyer I can't think of a way to use a bowflex machine in the building of the self bows I make.
I'd be curous to learn how it is used?
