I was cracking up over this because it hit so close to home. Even though I'm retired, I'm still semi-involved in getting one last paper I'm a coauthor on through a peer review. Some of those peers are real pedantic jackwagons with overenthusiastic ideas of their self-worth, so I completely empathize with the author here. :laugh:
