It's a great deal if you're in the clutch business.
Just like it's a great deal for those folks that makt the new power packs for the plugs or the forever warped brake rotors. Somebody's making a killing on this "new and improved" stuff and it ain't me..

Said it before, and I'll say it again.
Once the loan on my new truck is up, I'm going back to old vehicles.  My Volvo 240s sure weren't new and improved, but I never bought parts for them.  Ever.

Ok, update
The fluid is still clear, and honey-like.  I spent an hour under the truck, looking for leaks.  Can't find any.  My mechanic thinks it's the slave cylinder going, and replacing it requires dropping the tranmission.

Even if the slave cylinder is going bad, there should be a spring return.  At least there is on my 4Runner.  Of course, if the cylinder would good, I'd expect the pedal to return without the spring helper.

My thoughts exactly.
