Each lobbying group is going to report and/or endorse candidates that either have expressed or demonstrated (by their votes) support for their cause.
They only care about their pet cause. Period Full STOP.
Pro-Life groups won't care two dingleberries if he goes out and clubs baby seals for fun.
NAFTA haters won't care if he votes for or against same sex marriage.
PETA folks won't care if he has 13 underage El Salvadorian sex slaves in his basement.
If he or she votes for their stuff, he's a friend, if he votes against them, he or she is an enemy.
