It's only fish, but this is one of the more blatant incidents of fake news that I have seen. There were literally dozens of professional reporters there who saw the whole thing, but only the edited portion hit the MSM here and in other countries. All based on creative zooming, so blatant, blatant bias.

And it wasn't very much food in the box either. The media makes me sick. The other day I saw a article at "News"week that said something like "Acquaintance says Jared Kusher doesn't read, calls his father daddy!"
WTF

Also, do these people realize that this is not a little aquarium? It wasn't that much food anyway.
Maybe they should find some pond with a bunch of catfish. See how much food it takes to kill them.

Wouldn't that be enough food to start displacing the water?

Catfish - at least channel cats - can air breathe pretty darn well. I'm sure they'd keep right on eating.
I'm fairly certain the koi at the Japanese Garden in the Fort Worth Botanic Gardens get more food than that every day, each, with nearly every visitor feeding them a couple of handfuls. And they still hand around the food machines and act like they're starving.

We fed more than that to the rainbow trout at Maramec Spring this weekend. If these koi are anything like the ones at the STL Botanical Gardens, they would eat that much food before it even touches water.

Can I ask what is probably a stupid question?
Why is Trump feeding fish (regardless of amount) news in the first place?

Because feeding Japanese fish is cultural appropriation.

It's probably racist too or something.

The prime minister fed them, too. Maybe it has some ceremonial implications. I know the Chinese restaurant where I sometimes have lunch with my pastor has a fish pool just inside the entrance, and vending machines that people can buy fish food from. In Chinese Feng Shui, having water and fish at the entrance is supposed to bring good luck. When I lived in Philadelphia, there wasn't a restaurant in Chinatown that didn't have at least a small fish tank at the entrance. I suppose the Japanese may have a similar belief.

Has the mainstream media always been this stupid?

Yes. Next question.

President Trump and Japan's Prime Minister Shinzo Abe carried on an old tradition of feeding carp at a Koi pond in Tokyo when CNN and the rest of the mainstream media decided to twist the narrative to make Trump appear like a buffoon.
I was appalled, but not surprised, when I compared the two videos. CNN appears to have become a bed of snakes.
It's a case of lying by omission. Pretty frequent nowadays.
I've been appalled, but not surprised many times in the past year. (Today is election day 2017.)

He wanted sushi. But fattened first.

My old favorite Chinese restaurant, now gone, had a fish tank at the entrance.
Only it had an Oscar in it.
Feng sushi with teeth!

Olberman decides to insult the PM of Japan, for some reason.
