*- Temporary Protected Status. I mean "Temporary" is right there in the name of the program.
And he's tying the continuation of DACA to Building the Wall.

And putting the Dems into the "Shutting Down the .Gov" trickbag.

Oh this is gonna be good. [popcorn]
It is still unclear how exactly the Trump administration plans on getting Mexico to pay for the wall.
How about a 25% special tax on financial remittances to Nations south of the U.S. border?

Ah! Yeah. It's just we're putting new coversheets on all the TPS reports before they go out now. So if you could go ahead and try to remember to do that from now on, that'd be great. All right!

So Salvadorans who have been here for 17 years on a "temporary" program are upset that the .gov finally recognized that "temporary" does not mean "forever." But when my late wife first arrived here as a legal immigrant she was given a green card that said "Permanent" on its face -- and that expired one year (maybe it was two years) after the date of issue.
So, according to the United States government, "temporary" means "for a really, REALLY long time," while "permanent" means a year or two.
Got it.

They need to pay their fair share.

Jorge something or the other was on the news this morning on the radio positively screeching about how this is discrimination, nothing more. He's a VP with SEIU.
In other words, a hard core communist masquerading as... whatever.
I've spoken many, many times here just how much I LOATHE SEIU....
