Typical idiot.
Mental health background check for guns?  I somehow doubt I would pass that one.
Y'know, if he was barred from having a car he wouldnt have been able to drive to the scene of the crime.  Maybe we need background checks for cars too.

You know they way some of these a-holes drive that might not be a bad idea, surprised the eco-nuts haven't pushed for that too keep the cars off the roads.

Yeah the author who wrote that article has no grasp of reality, if guns were banded, he'd use a knife or baseball bat or something. No matter what you ban people are still going to do bad things. So there wasn't murder before firearms were invented?

You know, a computer can be used to spread all sorts of irrational ideas.  I say we require background checks and mental health screening for all computers, printers, and word processing programs, lest some loonie get his hands on one and start spreading ideas that are irrational and poorly thought out.

Do it now.

Apart from the factual errors, that was a really awefull piece of writing. It reads like something that should have come off a police blotter in the 70's and you can clearly see that the author thinks he is the absolute best thing ever to be in print. I could barely even read what he was trying to say around the big fat ego that is splashed all over the page.

Really, im impressed with how quiet the lefties have been about the firearm's angle with this shooting. Seems that people are actually starting to think that it is the criminals that are responsible for crime. At least thats what the optimist in me says. The realist in me says that the only thing that pisses off limosine liberals more than people with guns are kids having fun at night, so the rave thing is a bigger thorn for them.

Nice way to put it politely. Tongue

I've seen stuff like this before... the Milwaukee Journal Sentinal has it's own resident editorialist who regularly blesses the newspaper with his anti-gun wisdom lavishly expressed by his overflowing ego.
