Before he was a talk show joke...I mean host, and after he was the mayor that paid a hooker with a check, he was actually a respected news anchor in the 80s for the Cincinnati NBS affiliate. I remember him doing a series on the homeless by growing a beard and living on the streets for a week. It was a good series that embarrassed a lot of people with how homeless Jerry was treated.
