Looking for guidance relating to self-publishing, and where to expend effort and attention.

Thanks

Outside of Walmart, which hardly counts, the only bookstore in reasonable reach is a reliably disappointing Barnes & Noble.  So, Amazon.

I just like brick & mortar book stores so voted that way, but Amazon was a close second in my head.

What is Powell's?

Huge bookstore (new and used) in Oregon.  They also do Internet sales now.  I've heard of them but never bought anything from them cuz I don't buy many books.

I voted Amazon, only because there aren't any good bookstores within 40 miles (only one comic book store and Walmart).

I'd rather buy at brick and mortar.
